This novel is about a teenage boy, Victor "Torey" Adams, and how his perfect life is shattered when an unpopular boy in his school disappears. The story begins with Torey at his new boarding school. He has a new school, new friends, and a new life. It's a fresh start for Torey, or so he thinks. Just when he thinks that everything is going well, he receives an email about the disappearance of Christopher Creed. Christopher Creed was a creepy kid who everyone had wished death upon. Until it was rumored that he was actually dead. As Torey opens up the email, he reminisces on his past life. He remembers his old friends, his old girlfriend, and the mystery that shrouded the disappearance of Christopher Creed.
